One Michelin star restaurants in Bangkok are the broadest starred group. This is where you will find Thai tasting menus, French contemporary rooms, progressive Indian dining, sushi, Korean contemporary cooking, and modern international restaurants.
Use this page for the one-star list. Use Michelin restaurants in Bangkok for the full Michelin overview, or fine dining in Bangkok if you are still deciding by cuisine and occasion.
Why this tier is useful
The one-star tier is often the most practical Michelin tier for Bangkok visitors. It has more choice, more cuisine variety, and sometimes easier booking than the most famous rooms.
It is still not casual by default. Some one-star restaurants are tasting-menu focused and expensive, while others are more direct or unusual.
How to compare
Use cuisine first. Thai, French, Indian, Japanese, Korean, and modern restaurants answer different dinner questions, even when the award level is the same.
Then check location, booking format, price, and whether the restaurant fits your group. A counter seat, a formal dining room, and a spicy Thai tasting menu can all be excellent, but not for the same night.
My Bangkok advice
Do not treat one star as a compromise. In Bangkok, this is often where the most interesting choice lives, especially if you want strong food without organizing the whole day around dinner.
