WhyBangkok divides the operator’s through-running BTS Sukhumvit Line into East and North hubs so a long station list is easier to use. This page covers Siam and the E-coded direction to Kheha; trains continue through Siam onto the northern side without requiring a transfer.

Siam to lower Sukhumvit

Start at Siam for the central BTS interchange and the city’s densest shopping cluster. The next part of the line serves Ratchaprasong around Chit Lom, then the hotels and offices around Phloen Chit and Nana. Asok is the most important east-side interchange because Asok BTS connects with Sukhumvit MRT on the Blue Line; Terminal 21 sits beside it.

Phrom Phong to On Nut

Phrom Phong combines Benchasiri Park with Emporium and EmQuartier. Thonglor and Ekkamai are dining, nightlife, residential, and bus-terminal bases whose useful addresses often sit well away from Sukhumvit Road. On Nut marks a practical shift toward more residential eastern Bangkok.

Bang Na and the Samut Prakan extension

Punnawithi, Udom Suk, and Bang Na serve the outer Sukhumvit corridor, including road connections into Bang Na district. Bang Na BTS is the rail approach for BITEC, while Central Bangna still needs a road connection. Samrong connects with the MRT Yellow Line. Beyond Samrong, the line continues through Samut Prakan toward Pak Nam and Kheha; check the exact destination because the station name may cover a much larger road area than is comfortably walkable.

Choose a station map

Use the station navigation to open the local map for the stop you need. It keeps the code, station sequence, and exact position together; use the operator for current fares, service changes, and first or last trains.
