MRT Yellow Line

The MRT Yellow Line is an elevated monorail running from Lat Phrao through Bang Kapi and the Srinagarindra corridor to Samrong. It gives eastern Bangkok a north–south rail connection across neighbourhoods that previously depended heavily on congested roads.

Main corridor and destination stops

Use the line for Lat Phrao Road, Bang Kapi district, Hua Mak, the Srinagarindra shopping and residential corridor, Suan Luang district, and connections toward Bang Na and Samut Prakan. Many station names refer to junctions or long roads, so they do not guarantee a short walk to every similarly named place.

Interchanges and direction

Lat Phrao connects with the MRT Blue Line, while Samrong connects with the BTS Sukhumvit Line. Hua Mak provides access toward Airport Rail Link, but it is a street-level transfer between separate stations rather than a same-platform interchange.

Trains run toward Lat Phrao or Samrong. Check the named terminal, then use the station sequence to confirm which side of the line serves the destination.

Last-mile planning

Srinagarindra, Lat Phrao, and the southern suburban roads are wide and difficult to cross casually. Open the station map for the correct road side and whether the final connection needs walking, a bus, taxi, or motorcycle.
