Prawet District

Prawet stretches across eastern Bangkok around Srinagarindra, On Nut, Chaloem Phrakiat, and airport-side roads. Housing estates and older communities share the district with large parks, malls, markets, schools, warehouses, and event destinations.

Suan Luang Rama IX and Nong Bon

Suan Luang Rama IX is one of Bangkok’s major public parks, with nearby Nong Bon water-sports and green space. The park is in Prawet district despite the Suan Luang name. Use a specific gate or destination because the grounds and surrounding roads cover a large area.

Yellow Line access

Suan Luang Rama IX MRT and Si Udom MRT serve the Srinagarindra corridor. They improve access to parks, shopping, and nearby communities but do not remove the last mile to every entrance or housing estate.

Shopping and daily life

Large Srinagarindra malls and markets make the district useful for east-Bangkok shopping. Residential convenience depends on the exact road: a home near a local centre can work well, while a deep soi may require a vehicle for routine errands.
