Central Ladprao
A major Central Group mall on the BTS-MRT interchange at Lat Phrao, serving north Bangkok residents with shopping, dining, and entertainment.
Central Ladprao is a large Central Group shopping complex in Chatuchak district, connected to MRT Ha Yaek Lat Phrao station. It serves as the primary shopping destination for residents of north Bangkok — the areas around Lat Phrao, Ratchada, and Chatuchak that sit outside the BTS-centric tourist belt.
The complex anchors a Central Department Store alongside a multi-storey mall with mainstream fashion brands, electronics, a major cinema (SF Cinema), and an extensive food zone. The retail mix is solidly mid-range, targeting Thai families and local office workers rather than tourists. You’ll find the same Central brand standards — clean facilities, reliable air conditioning, and The 1 loyalty programme — as at Central Chidlom downtown, but with a more neighbourhood-oriented tenant mix and lower prices.
The dining options span the full Bangkok range: a below-ground food court with meals from 50–80 baht, mid-range chain restaurants, and a few standalone dining concepts on the upper floors. Tops supermarket in the basement handles daily grocery needs with reasonable quality and pricing.
Central Ladprao recently underwent a major renovation, refreshing the interior design and adding new retail concepts. The surrounding area has developed rapidly, with residential condos and office buildings sprouting around the MRT interchange. It’s a practical, comfortable shopping option for anyone staying or living in north Bangkok — no need to trek down to Siam for everyday purchases.
Other Central Group malls across Bangkok include CentralWorld, Central Embassy, Central Chidlom, Central Bangna, Central Rama 9, and Central Westgate. All share The 1 loyalty card.
