Wat Hong Rattanaram is a historic royal temple in the Wat Arun subdistrict. Bangkok Yai District describes it as an Ayutthaya-period temple that was restored and elevated during the reign of King Taksin, when Thonburi was the capital.

It is a quieter historic stop than nearby Wat Arun and works best as part of a focused Bangkok Yai visit. Itsaraphap MRT is the most useful rail approach, but allow for a local walk or short taxi. Dress respectfully and check access around active religious areas.
