Allianz Ayudhya

Allianz Ayudhya is one of Thailand’s largest insurance companies, formed through a partnership between global insurer Allianz and Thailand’s Bank of Ayudhya. It offers health insurance products for both the Thai domestic market and internationally oriented plans suitable for expats and long-stay residents.

The company’s hospital network is extensive — Allianz Ayudhya has direct billing agreements with a very large number of hospitals and clinics across Thailand, including most of Bangkok’s private hospitals. This breadth of network coverage can be an advantage for residents who travel frequently within Thailand.

Plans range from basic inpatient coverage to more comprehensive packages including outpatient, dental, and maternity. Premiums are generally competitive with other major providers.

Being a Thai-incorporated insurer, Allianz Ayudhya plans may have different tax implications for Thai tax residents than offshore international plans. The claims process is handled domestically.
