The BTS Gold Line is a short elevated feeder route in Khlong San district. It connects the Silom Line at Krung Thon Buri with Charoen Nakhon and Khlong San on the Thonburi side of the Chao Phraya.
What the Gold Line is for
Use the line for ICONSIAM and nearby Charoen Nakhon destinations when the approach from the BTS network is convenient. It is a local connector, not a cross-city line, and many riverside trips may still work better by ferry or another pier depending on the starting point.
Transfer at Krung Thon Buri
Krung Thon Buri is the connection with the BTS Silom Line. Confirm whether the next train is on the Gold Line or the main Silom Line and follow the signed transfer route; the two services have different roles even though both use BTS branding.
Choose the correct riverside stop
Charoen Nakhon is the main station for ICONSIAM. Khlong San serves Khlong San area farther along the feeder. Open the station map and check the exact destination entrance rather than treating the whole waterfront as one walkable place.
