Yan Nawa District

Yan Nawa follows Rama III and the east bank of the Chao Phraya south of Sathon. Offices, condominiums, schools, embassies and consular facilities, warehouses, local communities, and destination restaurants share a long river-and-road corridor.

Yan Nawa, Sathon, and Wat Yannawa

The practical Sathorn area extends beyond the formal Sathon district and overlaps how some Yan Nawa addresses are marketed. Wat Yannawa, despite the name, is beside Saphan Taksin in Sathon district rather than the modern Yan Nawa district.

Use the formal district for administrative context and the exact road or building for travel.

Transport

Yan Nawa has no BTS or MRT station inside its core in the current network. BRT, buses, taxis, motorcycles, private vehicles, and selected river connections serve different parts of Rama III. Saphan Taksin, Chong Nonsi, or another rail station may be useful only after a road transfer.

Rama III traffic and large junctions can make short journeys slow. Confirm the pickup side of divided roads and the entrance to riverfront compounds.

Dining and daily life

The district has strong destination dining, including Clara, Sühring, Savelberg, and other linked restaurants. These are separate reservations, not a walkable restaurant strip.

Who Yan Nawa suits

Yan Nawa suits residents and workers tied to Rama III, Sathon, or the southern river corridor. Visitors should choose a hotel only when its transport, boat, or road connection is explicit.
