Platinum Fashion Mall

A massive air-conditioned wholesale fashion mall in Pratunam with thousands of stalls selling clothing and accessories at rock-bottom prices.

Platinum Fashion Mall is the air-conditioned alternative to the chaotic street markets of Pratunam, housing around 2,000 shops across three zones and multiple floors. It’s open daily from 9:00 to 20:00, with the busiest trading happening in the morning when wholesale buyers from across Thailand and Southeast Asia place bulk orders. There’s no direct rail link, but it’s a 10-minute walk from BTS Chit Lom or Ratchathewi, or you can take the airport rail link to Ratchaprarop station nearby.

The mall is organised by product type: Zone 1 covers women’s fashion, Zone 2 has men’s clothing and accessories, and Zone 3 focuses on shoes, bags, and jewellery. Wholesale pricing kicks in when you buy three or more of the same item, but even single-piece retail prices are remarkably cheap — expect to pay 100–300 baht for tops, dresses, and trousers. The fashion leans toward fast-fashion trends popular across Southeast Asia, and new stock rotates quickly. Bargaining is less common here than at outdoor markets, though asking for a small discount on larger purchases is reasonable.

The food court on the upper floor is decent and very affordable, a good refuelling stop between shopping rounds. Avoid weekends if possible — the corridors become packed and navigating the maze of identical-looking stall rows gets tiring. If you’re buying in quantity for resale or personal use, Platinum is hard to beat on price. Pair it with a walk through the outdoor Pratunam Market directly outside for even more options.
