Wat Benchamabophit is better known in English as the Marble Temple. Its pale stone exterior, symmetrical courtyard and refined late-19th-century design make it one of Dusit’s clearest public architectural landmarks.

The temple is active, so treat the ordination hall and monastic areas respectfully. Dusit has limited rail access; a taxi, bus or a planned walk from another district sight is usually more practical. Check current visitor hours and any admission arrangements on the day, especially around religious ceremonies.
